Too Seriously Committed People (TSCP) is a duo formed in 2022 by drummer Stefano Grasso and saxophonist Alessio Dal Checco, rooted in jazz and creative music.

Their work explores the tension between improvisation and composition, combining structured materials with open forms where spontaneity and constraint coexist as complementary forces.

Emerging from Milan’s creative music scene, TSCP carries forward a legacy of free improvisation while embracing contemporary and global perspectives. As described by Musica Jazz, the duo brings together “two of the brightest Italian talents of recent years”.

Their debut album Truth Seeker (MUPE Records, 2023) has been presented at venues and festivals such as Novara Jazz Festival, A Love Supreme Impro Festival, Biko (Milan) and Hundred Years Gallery (London)

Their second album will be released in 2026.
